STEVE BERNARD Vinyl Records and CDs

Organist. Pianist. Orchestra leader. Composer. At the age of five, he started giving the first chords to the piano. In 1932, he finished high school and began to study classical piano. In 1933, he participated in an international piano competition held in Vienna, Austria and in which, competing with 440 candidates, he was among the first placed. He studied at the University of the Sorbonne, in Paris, in the chairs of Philosophy and Normal Music. With the beginning of the Second World War and, suffering from rheumatism, he had to interrupt his studies of classical music, but he turned to popular music. In 1953, at the invitation of the French singer Paul Pey he came to live in Brazil. He naturalized himself Brazilian and married Brazilian dancer Eva Lanthos, having children born here, among whom, Sandra Bernard, who even started his artistic career as a singer and who was later responsible for the maintenance of his musical collection.
